The Hill House limited edition of Neil Gaiman's new novel, ANANSI BOYS
is as beautiful and elegant as the Hill House edition of AMERICAN GODS. It
features a beautiful tan pigskin quarterbinding, with black Elegance Slub fabric covering
the rest. A blind-embossed wing enfolds the full-color artwork.
The slipcase features an intricately-carved wooden spider (with seven legs, of course)
affixed to the front panel.
In addition, the limited edition of ANANSI BOYS is designed by Dagmara Matuszak, the designer and artist
for MELINDA. It features ten-plus full-page pieces of color art illustrated by Dagmara.
If you'd like an advance look at the designs and illustration for the book, here is a
Adobe Acrobat (PDF) file of some of the ANANSI BOYS pages.

According to our initial announcement about the Hill House signed limited edition of ANANSI BOYS, we were going to be shipping these books the first week of April.
We wanted to let you all know that we've had to push this date back three months. We also wanted to let you know the reason for this delay.
Back when we entered into the contract with Morrow/HarperCollins for ANANSI BOYS, we agreed to not publish our limited edition until the beginning of January, 2006. This left us plenty of time to get this book out for this date.
But then...
|
AMERICAN GODS featured over 12,000 additional words that had not appeared in the trade edition. ANANSI BOYS
also features additional material, but in a spectacular presentation.
Within the slipcase of the limited edition there is not one but two volumes. The first volume is the signed
limited edition of ANANSI BOYS.
The second volume features the following additional material:
A completely new Introduction to ANANSI BOYS, written by Neil Gaiman for the Hill House edition;
An eight-page passage from ANANSI BOYS that does not appear in the trade edition;
A section of an ANANSI BOYS screenplay that Neil Gaiman wrote a number of years ago;
A number of facsimile pages shot directly from the book in which Neil handwrote ANANSI BOYS.
Retail price is $240 plus shipping charges.

and will sit beside the limited edition within the slipcase.
Hill House will be shipping our edition of ANANSI BOYS the first week of March 2007. It will be published in an edition of 750 copies.
