In 1992 Neil Gaiman wrote a screenplay based on a novel he had written and published in conjunction with another well-known writer. This screenplay (130 pages) was never produced (though a film of the novel—from a different script—is supposedly in pre-production as of the date of this writing). For diverse reasons this work is titled A SCREENPLAY, by Neil Gaiman—though Mr. Gaiman's readers will certainly recognize exactly what work this is based on.
