In August of 2004 William Morrow published a new collection of stories by Ray Bradbury:
THE CAT'S PAJAMAS: Stories. It contains twenty-two stories—some old, some new, and all but two of them never before published.
Hill House has published a deluxe signed limited edition of THE CAT'S PAJAMAS. The subtitle of the Hill House edition is slightly different, however: Stories + 5.
The reason for this change is that Hill House, with the active participation of Ray Bradbury, has added five new stories to the volume. Four of these stories have never been published until now; the fifth has seen print only once in The Magazine of Fantasy and Science Fiction.
The five new stories in THE CAT'S PAJAMAS: Stories + 5 are classic Ray Bradbury tales, with twists, turns, and surprises, filled with the joy that we experience through the simple act of living—and shadowed by the darkness that waits for us just around the corner.

THE CAT'S PAJAMAS: Stories + 5 Lettered Edition will provide its owners with not only a
beautifully bound book (with die-cut slipcase) and one of the finest clamshell cases
available, it also provides two exclusive bonuses. The book and clamshell case are
bound in a dark forest green Japanese silk.
The first bonus included with the Lettered Edition is a beautiful limited edition art print of Ray Bradbury's
illustration for THE CAT'S PAJAMAS. The print is signed and lettered; it also comes complete with a frame and mat.
The second bonus is a hand-bound hard cover book featuring Mr. Bradbury's story
"SAMURAI / KABUKI." This story has never been published—until now. The volume
is signed by Mr. Bradbury and is Lettered as well. It comes in a handsome black presentation envelope featuring a full-cover inlay.
The traycase and slipcase are covered in the same cloth and features both a satin pull-ribbon and a die-cut which reveals the image embossed upon the front panel of the book.
There are only 52 of these books produced in a signed and lettered edition.
